detail resolution on apple cinema 23 only 1024x768

works only on 1024x768 or worst,
apple cinema 23
ge force 6800 ultra

strange... it should works at 1600x1200 too, and stretch that out to fit the screen...
at least that's what i would think since the max. res. is 1900x1200.

can't say why....it just doesn't works..
maybe i have to change some configurations of my ge force 6800 ultra?
