can someone please help me? I used to play a lot in NBA Live 2005 but suddenly it's not working. I get an error message about Players.DBF
The thing is, that I have it. Haven't touched it, and even after uninstalling and reinstalling it, the problem persists.
Any idea?

If you're playing a Dynasty game with a custom roster, try reloading the roster before you load the Dynasty save.

Otherwise, codebase errors are usually a sign that there's a corrupted DBF file in the temporary files folder, which is located in Documents\NBA Live 2005\workingdb. If you delete the contents of the workingdb folder, the game will refresh them with the default files the next time you boot it up. You can also try removing the files in currentdb as well, but you usually just need to clear out workingdb. As long as the files in the originaldb folder aren't damaged, the game will just refresh whatever databases it needs the next time it loads, and everything should work as normal.
