Anyone else can't play Park or anything Online?

I have a legit bought copy of the game, I can play MyTeam in the menus, play MyCareer and enter The Neighbourhood but can't actually play online games against other people. Everytime I enter an online game it gives me the "a problem was encountered that prevents gameplay from continuing". I have mods installed, but I have already seen people in Park with cyberfaces on their player. Anyone have a fix or has encountered the same problem?

What mods do you have installed? Some of then will cause this problem. From my experience, some cyberfaces can cause that and also the bubble mod. As I don't want to tinker around with finding out which cyberfaces work and which not I have gone to not using cyberfaces at all.

Basically only cyberfaces and a reshade but this was happening before it. I do have 2k20 cyberfaces that are not actually converted to 21 though. My Myplayer is one of those but I doubt it affects it because MyTeam doesnt work as well...

If someone uses an nba players face for their myplayer and you happen to have a modded cyberface for them, then it kicks you out the game. Get rid of any modded cyberfaces before you play online, or else you'll keep getting booted. Makes sense, since that person using that face doesn't have your mods installed on their end.

Your explanation does NOT make any sense. 2k Mods are all graphic mods on the user end, it simply does not matter what you have installed when playing against others. They don't need to have your mods, they will just see the default file. Thats how the modding works: You replace existing files on your end with other files. If what you said was true, you couldnt use modded jerseys, stadiums, globals or what else when playing online, but actually this is working. You can also use some cyberfaces online, but not all.

Still, you are right: Before playing online, remove cyberfaces OR test out one by one which one works and which doesn't.

Remove your dinput.dll and NBAhook.dll just the 2 DLL together with the mod folder. Remove them whenever you want to play online

Oh, I see. Thanks for clearing that up for me, the same happened to me before and taking the mods out fixed it, so I assumed it was because the other guy wasn't loading assets that my game was loading. Glad I know better now, thanks.
