It's extremely foolish to wager against Pacquiao these days - he's the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world.

Indeed Pacquiao won. Stupid free TV channels. What I hate about this is that the media is giving the public hype that "Pacquiao is a national hero" blah blah blah. That made Manny think that he IS a hero.

I agree with Lean. Pacquiao is no national hero. A boxing hero perhaps.
I too would love to see him lose a fight, just to say that he can be beaten. But what the heck, almost no one can beat this man.

What i really don't like about Pacquiao is that he is almost always surrounded by those corrupt-no good public officials. And a lot of congressmen and public officials joined the President's US trip just to watch the fight as if there were no calamities brought by the recent typhoon/cyclone that devastated certain parts of the country.

The only good thing about Pacquiao fights is that he makes all the Filipinos united for just one day.

Lean and frAn are just haterz. :P
Manny is a true and real-life hero. Just like He-Man or Superman.

Ricky Hatton is rumored up next for Pacquiao (if the price is right). Now that's a brawl I definitely like to see.
HE'S USING HYPNOSIS!

No not really united, they are just infected with the hype. And like if he wins the match the oil prices will go down. :shake:

I would like to see a Floyd-Manny bout (though impossible for now because of the division disparity) to prove who's the better pound-for-pound guy.

Or we could have them fight each other at Wrestlemania XXV.

Yeah fuck the local officials, a lot of them Pinoys here starve to death while they swoop into the US to watch the bout.

And yes, Manny is like Superman and He-Man. He is Pacman [/cheesyjoke]

Pacquiao would have to gain just about 10 more pounds to get in Floyd's weight class.
The extra weight would make him much slower, but that would be one hell of a matchup!
As for last night's match, Pacquiao pretty much had Diaz from round 2.

I think you should stop boasting your Filipino colors then..you're a disgrace..

you're a poser..pretentious 'anti bandwagoner' which is worse than a bandwagoner..i remember him cheering for the celtics while he claims that he hates the lakers rather than really liking the c's..oh my.. i will never be surprised if i found out that you love to hear emo songs..

and i also remember that you have the 3 stars and a sun title before and you said that you do not have any "3 stars and a sun (TM)" shirts yet..

poser.

Wherever you go, you should know that each one of us have his or her opinion. Opinions are neither right nor wrong.

So does that mean that Pacquiao is more of a hero than Rizal? Lookie, he's a boxer. A BOXER. JUST A BOXER who has his head bloated by the media that puts him into the pedestal and made him think that he is a hero.

Not saying that Pacquiao is a disgrace to the country, it's just that he got hallucinations that he's a hero.

Remember when Luisito Espinosa was champion, he never had this "celebrated" life. When he lost his title, he was forgotten.
