Auto insurance and car loans

I have 3 questions for ya all:

1. What car do u have and how much do you pay for your auto insurance?

2. Financing term? length, monthly payment and APR? if any

3. What are some of the cheapest car to insure in the USA?

Ok this is the opposite to my topic and to all evo's owner we are #1 in the most expensive car to insure.

They all place the Evo as the most expensive car to insure, so I guess we are all rich or broke

To answer your questions:

1. Honda Concerto 1991 Model - Insurance I pay about $250AU a year, but when I first got my liscense I was paying about $850AU. But now that I'm a rating 1 for life it has dropped heaps.

2. That's for a 12 month term, which I pay in full cause it is cheaper.

3. No idea, ask friends/parents etc.

I have narrowed my choices to 3

1. Scion TC - don't think i need a coupe coz i already have a rally car
2. Toyota Corolla - no standards features are killing me
3. Honda Civic - everything is so good and superior to the corolla until i see its mileage economy.

I was gearing toward the Corolla, until I saw this box car heheh known as the Scion xB. They are coming out with a 2008 model in 2-3 months which will have a bigger engine 50+ horsepower compared to its 06 model, standarda cruise control, stability control, traction control, side and curtain airbags all standards but then it is about 3050 lbs compared to the 2400 lbs in the 06 model. I think I would wait for the 08 model to come out and see the official numbers and then make my decision

Four door cars are cheaper to insure. Red cars cost more in insurance (at least if you're a younger driver).

1. I drive a 1993 Eagle Vision TSi. It's comprable to the Chrysler Concorde, or the older model Dodge Intrepids, except it's the more expensive and sportier looking of the three.

2. My parents pay for my insurance for now. Safe Auto is the cheapest I think. Insurance in America is really just a big rip off. I say take the cheapest policy you can and try not to drive like a f'ing idiot. Insurance companies do their best not to honor their policies even if you pay a ton for them. But if you're looking at a new car, why do you care so much about insurance? If I had all that extra money to spend on a brand fucking new car, insurance would probably be the last thing I'd be concerned with.

It's just family tradition to look for a slightly used car that was expensive in it's day. Good cars will longer than the new cheapos. Mine has 167,000 miles on it, but it still drives like it did when I got it with little problems. It has 210 hp which seems like a ton.
