I know they're animals, but still...

Sat Dec 09, 2006 12:01 pm

This is shocking. Fucking crazy Chinese fur factories. Skinning alive? Why not kill them before you turn the poor thing inside out?

Yes, I know that animals were put on the earth for food and clothing, and yes, I agree PETA is fucked up and over the top, but seriously, can you at least let the animals die before you rip it's skin off?

Personally I found this disgusting. Would it really be that hard to kill it before you do that to it. I would just love to skin this crazy fuck to let him know what he's doing.

As soon as I saw them beating the thing I stopped watching. Dont think I could handle watching any of that skinning or whatever,

Sat Dec 09, 2006 12:05 pm

jeez man, thanks

as if the fuckin ankle breaking videos in the official video thread weren't enough..

Ima go make the janitor earn his money, bbl

The reason they don't kill the animal before skinning it alive is to keep it fresh.
The animal is going to be eaten or sold to be eaten.

Sat Dec 09, 2006 7:21 pm

No way in hell I'm clicking on the link. This is just morally wrong and seriously fucked up.

Sat Dec 09, 2006 8:09 pm

Yuck. I thought I heard someone throwing up at around 0:50. They just cut the skin off about half way and yanked the rest of it off. As soon as they showed the skinless racoon alive and suffering, I was done.

Keep what fresh? The meat?

The whole process of skinning the animal took less than a minute, would taking another 30 seconds beforehand to kill it really mean that much?

Even after watching this video, I still have no problem with animals being used for fur. But there is no need to keep it alive while you rip its' skin off. For anyone who does not want to watch the link, but is curious, read on. If not, press the back button.

The video begins when a man picks up the animal by its tail, and swings it hard into the ground. The animal lets out a moan, so the man holds both its leg and swings it hard into the ground again. The animal has it's eyes open, bleeding out it's mouth and nose and slightly shakes. He then hangs it upside down and uses a large knife to cut open the back side of the animal, If you can imagine a flower opening up, you have got the picture.

During the process, the animal is alive and swaying from side to side, kicking it's legs and lifting it's head up to the wounds. After the backside is open, he makes small cuts around the edges of the opened skin (much like you do when ripping material, make a small slice, then rip it down). He then begins pulling on the small cuts, rippping the skin open till he's about 3/4s of the way through the animals body.

As he is pulling the skin, the animal begins making (very humanlike) deep coughs, and then hangs lifeless while the man cuts strings of meat holding the skin in place. However, when he starts to tug on the remaining skin, the animal lifts it self up and once again begins to make noises. He literally turns its skin inside out over its shoulders, at which point he stops to show people the animals insides while the inside of its tail still flicks around.

Then he begins to pull it completely inside out, tugging and tugging until the the skin comes completely off, which takes alot of effort. The vieo then cuts to the animal, still alive, laying on what looks like a table of some sort. It is literally just a skeleton, covered in blood, but it still has paws and eyelashes. You can see there is a very thin layer of what looks like fat covering the skeleton. It then begins to make that deep cough, and sits up like a normal animal would. It then pauses for a second, and drops its head down as though it has died. About 5 seconds later it begins shaking and raising is head again, obviously still alive, and the video stops. (which leads onto a white dog of some sort being killed also.)

All that pain and suffering would not have been inflicted upon the animal if it was killed before they skinned it. Animals are here for food and clothes, but they also have feelings you sick fucks.

I didn't know you have good story-telling skills Flite.

To repeat myself, yes, it is to keep the meat fresh. The more alive it is before being served the more fresh it is. The Japanese do it with their fish, so it's no surprise if the Chinese? do it.
They think that once the heart/bloodflow stops, the "freshness" quickly deteriorates, so 30 seconds is a big deal for these killers.

Is that addressed to me and others in the thread? If it is, I would be terribly offended.

No, it was directed at the guy turning it inside out.

I don't know anything about this, but I'm guessing these guys are completely wrong.

Thanks for the description Flite. At first I thought I was a wuss for not watching but after reading that I'm pretty happy I didnt and know for sure I still couldnt sit through it. I pretty much wanted to stop reading it after a few sentences.

Damn Flite... I left out your warning and... :x
I actually read the damn post... As a Chinese myself, I feel ashamed for their brutality and also the usual weird stupidity. The part where the living skeleton moves and shit, that's scary and fucked.. Imagine the pain... I couldnt stand the pain when my nail got torn off already, but their entire skin is ripped off... Sick.

Hope some organization stops this.

PS. Funny though, I don't feel sicken when fishes are skinned alive... Sashimi.

You shouldn't feel ashamed, every culture has their weird things. In my country, probably up until early 1900's, people used to eat each other. I neither feel weird when fish are skinned alive, I don't know why, maybe it's because fish don't really seem "alive" like other animals do.

Sat Dec 09, 2006 10:51 pm

WTF??!?!?!!? this has to be the scariest and most gruesome shit ive seen. and they do it to dogs aswell, didnt see that coming. Eww when they show them squirming around with no fur... i threw up in my mouth no jokes

Dude, but we're living in the 21st century already.. We have organizations like WWF (?), PETA already... Anyway, fuck these people. They should be hung and their skin stripped.

Sun Dec 10, 2006 12:23 am

Dude, but we're living in the 21st century already

So? That doesn't necessarily remove age old customs for certain people/races.

PETA is also fucked up, they do mercy killings of "unwanted" animals.

shadowgrin wrote:PETA is also fucked up, they do mercy killings of "unwanted" animals.

PETA's fucked up in other areas too. They've taken things to the extreme, that they're no longer credible.

Sun Dec 10, 2006 5:33 am

PETA is starting to claw its way here in the Philippines. The "elites" of society (rich fucks, models, stars) think they are supporting a worthy organization.
Ignorant retards.

Sun Dec 10, 2006 5:39 am

PETA

People for the eating of tasty animals :)

Sun Dec 10, 2006 7:55 am

Fuck man after 35 Sec. of it I had to stop.

Sun Dec 10, 2006 10:21 am

It just too wrong...man wtf...lets skin that guy's ass...

Sun Dec 10, 2006 10:31 am

The sick individual that I am, I had trouble watching that. Simply put, it's horrific.

That video disgusted me in more ways than every horror movie has ever been capable of doing, the skeleton of it just looking through those hollow eyes...then keeling over, fuck, I feel horrible just watching it, let alone someone who does it. Jesus...all I could say was God, make it stop. :?

Arrgh, that's just horrible!!!!!!!

Sun Dec 10, 2006 11:55 am

Don't want to watch it. I think this'll be as disgusting as those Taliban beheading videos that really made my stomach turn.

Sun Dec 10, 2006 12:20 pm

Well, i'm gonna judge by everybody's responses that i'm probably better off not loading this.

Skinning of animals? Mmm, interesting.

Sun Dec 10, 2006 12:50 pm

That was very cruel. I wish the animal was strong enough to attack the man so he could get what he deserves. The dog part made me feel worse because he was just standing on its neck, how cruel do these people have to be just to get fur off the animal its unbelievable.

Sun Dec 10, 2006 4:35 pm

I cant watch that crap, its horrible. Every animal has a distinct personality. If you've ever had a pet you'd know that, and to just kill skin them alive and beat them like that is wrong.
