That must be an Austrailian/Football term I guess. I've never, ever heard it used in a basketball game. I'm pretty sure if you were playing a pickup game here and suggested running a 1-2 the game would be paused for a few minutes while you got your ass kicked and they found a replacment for you. :lol:

Soccer calls it a 1-2, not so weird to call a give and go that, it's basically the same team.
Just because your culture isn't used to soccer terms doesn't make someone else an idiot when he uses one. :roll:

I believe it has been delayed to around the 2nd of November, if not later. Best bet is to check out http://www.palgn.com.au. There release date is really accurate and reasonably up to date.

Yeah it's pretty annoying. I heard over at the official xbox forums. It sucks that we have to wait, but personally it's not too bad cause I don't need anymore distractions while I have my exams.

Anyway, one more week. Should get it a couple of games into the actual season.

I won't even get started on how annoyed I have been with the delay....provided I can, next year I'll mod my 360 so I can play NTSC games, so I can import college hoops 2k7 & nba 2k7 when they are release in the States....

Yeah, i dont understand why they have to delay everything over here. Hell even England has probably got the game and theres about 2 basketball fans in the whole country. Australia get so ripped off its a joke, people still dont think we are an established country. Anyway it better be there on November 2nd or I'm really gonna be pissed off.

Well thats just great. Its so unfair, the Americans and a few other places have had a whole month of playing this game, while we still have to wait even longer. Its just stupid, At least Live came out at around the same time as in the US.

so? november is still better than march. i was trying to get DoR2 last year, it got delayed three separate times for a totla of at least 2 months.

we are bitching because EB had release date at October 20....I went in on 20th, they said, 24th....I went in on the 24th, they said 1 day to 2 weeks....and they've recently said November 7th....I did this ( :roll:

) because I expect them to give a date later than this when I rocked up to pick up game....I'm obviously searching elsewhere in the meantime, but yeah....

so as you can see, I'm more annoyed that they keep pushing dates back....I just want a concrete date, that's all....I would prefer them to give a conservative release date & beat it....if you get told it's out between 1 day & 2 weeks, you're going to keep looking for it....at least I have another date to look forward to....

I also want to start a multi-player Association which you can't do in 2k6, so that's another reason for my impatience....ahh well, it'll happen, it's not the end of the world....

at least this fiasco has made my mind up....next year I will mod 360 so I can play region free games & then import nba 2k8, plus college hoops 2k8....

Is it a risky operation to get your 360 made region free? I'd do anything to be able to play a college hoops game, but I don't want to risk getting a messed up 360 back without having any warranty (because it's still illegal right?).
