I just got rejected last night

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Jackal's an introvert. I'm an extrovert.

Had the most amazing party last night...I think traces of alcohol are left...who knows, maybe I feel nice enough to post some pics?

Maybe you're to blame Fenix. You're unaware that you're the model of masculinity in the forums. Since you left, we have no one to look up to as the basis of being manly so it started going ghey and shite.
Fenix wrote:And oh, I'm never (NEVER) posting pics of me around here ever again.

Do that and you're only aggravating the problem you see.

In summary, continue posting your pics.

I don't think gay people should be exterminated dude. I just think it's a little fucked up. Immoral, but your life is your life man. I hope you enjoy "the ride".

Now as for the introvert extrovert thing it can work, most girls i go out with are very introverted, the trick is just communication and understanding. Just talk to each other and work with each other and relationships can work more often than not.

So I guess you're one of those who refuses to respect a religion other than your own? I'm not religious per se; I do find it hypocritical when Christians claim that they respect and tolerate Islam and Judaism, as they're basically admitting that their beliefs could be wrong. So I like that you're sticking to your guns, but seriously that was the most prototypical trolling post I can think of - what's the point?

I'm not sure how you can consider that trolling, you asked a question and he answered it. Also not sure how you interpreted it as him not respecting other religions.

I've never been rejected.

But that's because I've never asked anyone out. Well, once in primary school, but I was like 10.

The trolling part was his initial post in the thread, as I see it.

If one goes to the trouble of pointing out immorality in people who don't share their religious views, it's safe to say they don't respect the religious views of said people.

Just a heads up: Judaism Christianity and Islam are all very similar. They all are monotheist, believe in a savior, prophets, heaven/hell...they even share alot of them (Jesus is a prophet in the Koran). The fine print is where they differ (who is the savior, has he been here yet, how long you go to hell for being wicked). Riot, just remember: all holy books are not the word of God. They have been edited and passed down through countless numbers of men (or dare i say women? The heroic women seem in religious texts to come out of left field) and if you've ever played a simple game of Telephone when you were 5 years old; you know it cant be completely accurate. Religion is a guideline way for people to cope with uncopable, answer the unanswerable, not judge and persecute anyone who believes differently.

To throw in a little south park quote here:
"If god created us in his image, and god made me bicurious, then i figure god must be a little bicurious too!"-Butters

But Axel hasn't mentioned religion whatsoever, and the immorality he pointed out was the idea of being homosexual, not being a certain religion.

ONLY I HAVE THE POWER TO REDIRECT THE FLAMING FROM THE ANTI-HOMOSEXUAL TO MYSELF

Moving along...

@ illini: I'm well aware of the differences between the three religions. I'm saying if a Christian believes that the Islam fine print is plausible, they are not really a Christian.

@ Jae: I don't think I'm interpreting your post correctly...I'm just guessing that Axel doesn't subscribe to a Christian faith that denounces homosexuality.

Jae wrote:the immorality he pointed out was the idea of being homosexual

So you're also proposing that homosexuality is immoral? I don't follow.

No. He said homosexuality is immoral, obviously that is his opinion. It's based on his (Riot's) religion apparentely but I can't imagine how that could be interpreted as him being intolerant of other religions, as far as I'm aware there's no religion that would actually disagree with him... aside from the zany Hollywood ones. I have no idea what religion Axel is but I'd doubt he would take what Riot said as an attack on his beliefs (or lack of).

Well, I think he takes Riot's positions, and belief that his lifestyle is immoral to be "an attack on his beliefs" which is understandable. I know what you meant however, I just do not seperate "religion" from "beliefs" as I consider things like beliefs in Marxism or Climate Change to be equivalent to religions.

To use this post to talk about myself. I do not consider anything people do with consenting others to be necessarily immoral, I am opposed to state recognized gay marriage.

Ok, so you're talking about mainstream religions - I'm talking about any system of ideas dealing with a transcendental ultimate concern.

If he was tolerant of Axel's religion, I don't think he would have felt the need to call his lifestyle "immoral", and I also don't think Axel would enjoy being called "immoral".

EDIT:
