Rip Hamilton looks really good, they got his beard right and headband position and everything all they missed out was his mask. That trailer was pretty good also, this game looks really fun, see that move where Rip runs on the backboard and dunks it twice.

He jumped off Melo's back.
Melo would be crushed.

But sometimes I think the game will be toooooo much unrealistic!

The same can be said about every ea sports game. At least this one has a reason to be.

NBA Street v3 was actually a fun game for me. It was the first arcade basketball game I've played since NBA Jam T.E. (greatest. game. ever.).
Next gen graphics look really nice lol.

It's always great to have a fun next gen game I guess, but what really makes or breaks this game is the game modes imo. This is going to be NBA Street's fourth installment, so if it has nothing more than the same ol' 3on3, I'll probably not get it for full price.

What the hell? That cover looks really strange...

I wish I could afford a next gen console

The graphics are so amazing compared to the current gen stuff I'm stuck with on my PC, which could definitely handle next gen graphics IMO
I'm not really a fan of these arcadish sports games though, NFL Street, NBA Street, etc. I used to own NFL Street for the PS2 before I sold the ps2, and it was fun, but really unrealistic and it really wasn't THAT fun (maybe if it was a $20 game it would be fun, but it was $40-$50 if I remember correctly)

Downloaded the demo. The graphics are great, some of the best I've seen on the console. The rosters aren't quite up to date (No GSW/IND trade, Webber on Sixers) but at least they have the AI trade. As for the gameplay, I didn't play it much and I don't know how to do much yet, but I am disappointed to see the Trick Stick Gone. There are only two people to pass to, what is the point of a pass button? The double-dunks are really cool. I don't know how to do them though... It is only a to-7 game with Denver or Detroit and the difficulty is set to the lowest I believe. Hitting cheap 3's with Billups and Hamilton worked every time for me, and the 3-point percentage is a lot higher than it should be.
Ratings so far:
Graphics: 10
Gameplay: 8 (Can do some really cool stuff and is fun as always, but no trick stick and 3's are too easy)
Sound: 6 (Can't tell yet, as there is just one song)
Overall: 8
I'll just have to wait and see what the finished product turns out to be...

Ok after playing the demo hre are a few impressions:
well in the beggining ts really hard and you´ll hardly do and win anything... but after some time you start managing the trick remixer and getting gamebreakers(those are insane) doing double-dunks and that´s when the game really starts..
so im looking forward to this.. i´d give it an 8,6 overall so far...
EDIT: you can triple-dunk
Sun Feb 04, 2007 4:03 am
I'm really likin this! Triple-dunks are great! One time I was playing and TayShaun Prince jumped off of Hamiltons back to do one of those "stunt-dunks" and he got stuck in the rim lmfao!!
He was just hanging in the rim by his feet ahahahaha!!
One thing I wish they would put in NBA street is manual replays that you can access from the pause menu.
Blocking shots seems way too easy too. One thing that I see that I like now is that you can't break ankles 24/7 like in past NBA Streets. The D doesn't play like they're wearing Jordan Bananas and just fall everytime you do a move.
I like the new gamebreakers too. It gives each side a fair chance at scoring on them.
