half Life 2 is the best game, far cry is 2nd.
Personally I like far cry better for the PC but HL:2 is a damn good game even though it is short. I did have fun with Riddick, but its, meh. and Splinter Cell is a good game, just not my type of game.

what is this for, PC? Xbox?
Opinions are my own.

Seconded, as long as you've got high-speed. Chaos Theory is great though and you can get Far Cry for $10 on direct2drive.com.

Chronicles of Riddick is a great game, although it is a bit short, I really enjoyed it, playing through it twice. It has goals that you can complete but you don't have to complete all of them to progress the story. There is also this fight mode where you are boxing against other prisoners, that is so much fun. Also there is like a nano-suit thing that you can get in and it is bad ass.

Half Life 2 is the best of those, just overall a kickass-fps. Played through it twice. I am anticipating Episode 2.

Far Cry is one of my personal favorites, because it looks great with all the open areas and you can choose to be stealthy or not. You can drive some jeeps and some boats also. I've played through this probably 4 times.

I think Half-Life or Far Cry delivers in terms of multiplayer, so that really lengthens the replay value for it. I'd get either one of them, but I've never played Far Cry so I can't really be the judge of which one I think is better.
