The Rick Fox report turned out to be untrue, but his eldest daughter Gianna was indeed on the helicopter as well, along with a teammate and one of their parents. Just terrible.

Iam still really shocked and hurt by this, the way they went was just awful.

As big of a Jordan fan I am now I wasn't able the time he played because he stood in the way of the Knicks a lot, Kobe playing out west kind of allowed me to appreciate him from day one which watching the nba since I was a 10 year old back in 91 Jordan was already going into his prime.

But for Kobe I was able to watch him coming into the league and turn in a global superstar,we all debate about LeBron and Jordan but for me Kobe was always the player I compared Jordan with, there play style there confidence and there drive to do it alone separated them from LeBron.

Kobe been taken is hard but as a parent to a daughter of my own it's hard to see young girls like this been tragically killed in this event, only peace I find is that the two young women have at least one parent there with them but I wish this never happened at all it's just my way of dealing with it.

R.I.P Kobe thanks for the memories and been an nba live head I remember the tough tough battles growing up going against the Lakers!

Again and again, life is too short to plan far away future. hold grudges, be angry for too long. People say things like that all the time, but words like that only take on their meaning when you experience someone close to you passing away.
