Kristic has to step up in game 4, he was disappointing last game.

When Shaq isn't in foul trouble they've been extremely tough to beat all year

0-2 at home, big time choke job. Nets just don't have a bench to compete.

If the Nets could just get someone decent on the bench and a starting center who can actually play basketball and who gets more than just ONE All-Defensive Team vote, they'd be able to go deeper into the postseason.

It always hurts them in the end that they simply lack the depth their opponents have.

that's what happens when you don't sign a guy like Shareef. He would have been mightily handy in the playoffs.

Yeah, but there was a slight risk of scar tissue from a surgery.

The Nets didn't want to risk another season where a big player was out after kidd missed nearly half the season after his knee surgery and RJ was injured.

NETS ARE GONE, HEAT MOVE THROUGH

Disappointing for the Nets, I knew the Heat would win the series but I thought it would go to 7. So they get another chance at the Eastern Conference Finals.
Walker played well, good to see he's moving on from his jacking up the ball days.
Nets def. need a big man next year in their lineup and a few better players on their bench.
Congrats to the Heat!

I'm suprised at how utterly outclassed the nets were in that series. Even in a a desperation game where jason kidd actually shot well..the heat had the killer instinct. This looks like dwayde's year...and they have my support if lebron doesnt pass detroit.

Nets lack of execution killed them. Miami played well but i don't think they played great. Nets just shot themselves in the foot. Had they played with composure they could have been up 3-1 themselves.

Completely agree with you. From the highlights I have seen Miami hasnt really looked spectacular as though this is their year. Just a couple bounces here and there in their favor and badaboom-badabing the series is in their hands. Congrats to them however and it would be pretty nice if they could get a little revenge on Detroit.

I'm so glad they tied at the half & Miami won the game... I bet that it would happen and won $85 from $5 :P

But we both know that aint gonna happen :P .

I really cant believe Miami won this game. NJ had their Big 3 play quite well and Miami had Wade and Shaq play average and they still won. I dont get it?

All I can say is watch out for Miami, their role players, Walker (urgh), J-Wil, Zo, Haslem, Posey are all geling together quite well in the playoffs and as we've seen in this series, theyre backing up Wade and Shaq when needed.

Well I didn't hought they will win so easily the series.I'm not sure if this is going to be a good thing for Miami, because not they can rest for a few days with no games. They played really soled this series. Can't wait for the Eastern conference finnals. :) They will probably match-up Detroit and I wanna see a rematch for last season.Well I didn't watch the game today so there's isn't much to say about that, but I'm glad to see the Heat move on.

Great win by the Heat.... Zo is playing well again, despite big games from "the big 3" they still won, even with Shaq in some foul trouble. With a pretty good rest now, Zo will be ready to go for the next series and Shaq's foul problems won't be magnified nearly as much as in the Bulls series.

Best news of all though is that the Heat are finally playing fairly well on defense. Dwade is looking confident in his jumpshot, he's really improved it a lot since he first came into the league. If he continues to shoot the ball well, I think they have a great chance of making it to the finals.

They got lucky they closed out the series with the Nets so quickly. Now they have time to rest before they face the Pistons. I'm a Heat fan, but I find myself rooting for the Heat to lose this year. They don't deserve the championship. This team doesn't play well, they played better last season. The only reason they didn't get to the Finals last year was because Wade and Shaq weren't 100%.

yep most definitely... he'd be pretty damn difficult to defend if he's hitting those 3's

i give credit to Miami for taking care of business. some people seem to be giving more credit to NJ for messing things up but the bottom line is that Miami is already waiting for their opponent in the Conf finals

Another good game for the Heat.... even with Wade in foul trouble for most of it. The Pistons were almost unbeatable during the regular season, it makes me wonder if this team is like the Dallas Mavericks of the past couple seasons.

I was also glad to see Riley go to fouling Ben Wallace in the 4th to prevent any sort of run. He's shot the ball horrible from the free throw line, they need to make them pay for keeping him in the game. If he's going to guard Shaq one on one, I'd bring in one of the guys at the far end of the bench and foul him every time down the court... only if the team is already over the penalty though. Even Shaq has been better shooting FTs than Ben.

Ben is probably the worst free throw shooter that I have seen in the league. I mean damn, he probably averages one air ball per game off of a free throw.

Great win by Miami, though, and this series is going to get very physical from the looks of the final quarter tonight. It's good to see 'Zo getting back into it and being extra-aggressive on both ends of the floor. Dwyane, even though, he was in foul trouble, had a really productive game and he also passed the ball well (five assists I believe). I hope Posey, Walker, Payton, etc. can be consistant throughout the whole series.

It seems Troit has come tonight! The fans are full of energy. I really hope Miami can end it here, i have a feeling if thats not the case Detroit will take it all. Hopefully Wade will be as aggressive as he has been throughout this series.

lol....

Court spacing seemed horrible for the Heat tonight. Everytime Wade was double teamed in the 4th, seemed like all 5 players were on the same side.

Regardless... I'm not really worried. Miami was horrible from the free throw line, even excluding Shaq. Next home game they'll probably get to the line more often and hit more of their free throws.
