Why would that happen? It won't unless Justin Hamilton and Tarik Black leave to FA (Justin Hamilton being released by Minnesota and Tarik Black testing FA out of the Lakers). 76ers are going to take Sam Dekker 3rd overall.Jackal wrote:From what I've read and his reluctance to work out for LA, I think KAT has word from Minny that they'll draft him at 1.

Maybe he was Pistons GM in 2003, saying: Hey, we already have Tayshon Prince on SF, why would we draft Carmlelo? Darko Millicic is our guy!

T'Wolves GM would probably say, "Hey, we already have Nikola Pekovic on C, why would we draft KAT? D'Angelo Russell is our guy." Lakers GM would say, "Let's go with Mario Hezonja over Jahlil Okafor. We already have Jordan Hill." 76ers GM would say, "We don't need Cs/PGs, We need SFs. Sam Dekker is our guy." Then the Knicks draft Karl-Anthony Towns and the Magic go with Jahlil Okafor. If that's the case, it'll be like the Wizards GM back in 2001 with Kwame Brown over Shane Battier by saying, "We already are going to get MJ for SF, why would we draft Battier? Kwame Brown is our guy," and like the Blazers GM saying, "We already have enough SFs, why would we draft Kevin Durant? Greg Oden is our guy," back in 2007.samardzicnba wrote:mp3 wrote:He would make a worst GM draft picker than Michael Jordan.

I'm not arguing, I'm agreeing that the 76ers GM drafting Sam Dekker 3rd overall is like Blazers GM drafting Oden over Durant in 2007 1st overall.Axel wrote:It took some serious work to come up with such a horrible argument. So suppose these are the top 8 draft selections (which is the updated mock draft since Jordan Hill is released by the Lakers):air gordon wrote:http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/projecting-the-top-50-players-in-the-2015-nba-draft-class/
Something to add to the hype/discussion as the draft grows nearer
