Potential and versatility certainly go a long way in bumping players up the Draft board, in some cases right up to the first pick. At one point, players like Darko and Bargnani displayed the tools to that got people thinking they could be significant players in the league but as yet they haven't had that impact and may never live up to that hype aside from flashes here and there.

I haven't seen Haddadi play. Anyone here care to share have any good videos of him playing? From what I read from articles on the paper and the internet, this Iranian guy is really a defensive monster, with a great feel around the basket. I imagine him to be a lot like tyson chandler on D, but with a little scoring touch. Then again, the media has always been known to hype things a little too much.

For me though, the NBA is starting to feel like the late 80's and early 90's again, where we have so much talented centers in the game. But basing from his stats from the olympics though, he should probably be able to kick the collective asses of centers like dalembert, robert swift and brendan haywood. Not bad for an undrafted player.

haha, you guys acutally think dalembert is worth something? Sure he gets some ok stats. But as a center, he really sucks. He really can't take any real contact, even from average PF or the bigger SF's.

dalembert's the best canadian center atm and quite a decent one in nba as well.
