He reminds me of Kenny Anderson for some reason. Probably because he's a lefty I guess

I'm honestly not sold on this kid atm. He's better than I thought he'd be but I have to see more of him before I can give my verdict. I will say however that I am a fan of PG's having a floater in the lane as part of their offensive arsenal (here this Sit, I've told you this for last 2-3 years) (Y)

Maybe I spoke too soon. This Bucks' team without Bogut & Redd has no right to beat anybody.

I'm surprised that amid the Bucks' surprising success, perennially underrated Hakim Warrick is having a poor start. Hopefully he turns it around, as I think he could be an X-factor later on.

Warrick is a spaz, he is almost painful to watch sometimes. That being said I think he can be decent, just taking a while to find his feet.

Watching Warrick is like seeing Darius Miles part 2. (statistically speaking, not the drugs/weed)

Except for that one-half of his game that's completely missing.

Plus the whole actually having a jump shot thing.

Like Lamrock said, his averages are amazing at the moment but it's only been 3 weeks so far, you need a lot more than that to really judge a player. I'm going to wait for a few more weeks before I rate him, but as long as he's putting up points for the Bucks and producing the numbers required, who can criticize him?

Every time I watch this cat, I want to smash Donnie Walsh's f*****g face. His explanation for not drafting Jennings is inexcusable("we didn't know enough about him"). Well shit, find out, you stupid ass! WTF are you paying scouts for???

Scouts actually lobbied for Walsh to pick him so I wouldn't put it on them. It was Walsh who made the "safe" call. It seemed like a gimme to me that the Knicks would draft a PG considering Chris Duhon is their starter. If Curry was gone then Jennings seemed like the pick. This was a draft that was quite deep at PG so why not take a PG? Made too much sense. Jordan Hill pick made no sense. I laughed when I heard somebody dropped Amare comparisons

knicks isn't the only team that missed out on him though. 6-1 20yrs old pg who didn't do too well in euro league would sound not that good in any years i think. It's just that he surpassed everyone's expectations greatly.

The Knicks and Grizzlies are really the only teams that missed out by passing on Jennings though, for the most part the other teams that passed on him are getting productive minutes out of the player they drafted (or in the case of the Clippers, they will once Griffin makes his official debut).

I dont think that any team did a my mistake by not taking him. I once saw him playing against my hometown as a starter and I even recognized him. That game he startet poor, taking bad shots and later got in foul trouble. He ended up having only 5 pts or so.
Knicks have Robinson and Duhon why should they pick Jennings?

But the 55 were amazin

But its not intelligent if you already got 2 PGs with some experience on the bench and let the rookie play, who was not succesful last year. Rather draft other positons which are not as good (SG/C)

No one knows if he can keep it up. At least we know that the Knicks can alwas put up their shitty numbers. And puttin Nate at SG always is a mismatch.

The Knicks didn't even do that. Last year they drafted Gallinari over a legit center in Brook Lopez. They always screw up the draft.

Anybody else read this crock of shit? I know Slam hasn't been the place to go for insightful information on the basketball world, but christ.

Essentially the article compares Jennings to Ronald Murray of all people. I know people are getting overhyped about the kid and I too would hope that his fan boys quiet down their expectations for now, but in all honestly I don't think that Murray is a valid comparison at all.

Yeah there's a big thread about this at RealGM. Murray was 24 at the time he was scoring those points and in his second season, also playing SG. Apparently this is irrelevant.
