Better roster mod for Association mode?

Postby JEDL on Tue Mar 10, 2015 9:48 pm

I'm currently using Med's Roster but the problem I have with it is some of the player ratings. I feel like some players are rated too high which makes it a headache to handle in association mode. Do you guys know the best roster to use in this game mode? I don't really want to tweak every player again just to make sure they don't complain about their roles and the CPU adjusts them properly in their lineups, similar to what I did in the 2K13 Med's roster.

In my playthrough (with the latest update), I chose the Mavs. And the problem with that is, several-- actually most of the bench guys complain about playing time and their roles: Amare and Barea complain on being role players, Villanueva and Jefferson are upset being bench warmers, and Aminu (who has a Prospect role) is not really enjoying his 17 mins per game. This is a huge headache for me and its driving me nuts. I ended up trading most of the guys for weaker and older players mid-season just so they'd shut up.

But here's another problem: CPU management. They. Are. Terrible. And. Merciless. An example of this is the Bulls, Taj Gibson is the default sixth man on the team, but for some insane reason Mirotic gets more minutes because his overall stat got boosted by 2 (75-->77). And now Taj is frustrated and the CPU does nothing about it. THE WHOLE SEASON. Aaron Brooks (74) is also unhappy with his role (Role Player). Same goes with Hawes (74) with the Clippers and many many more players. Oh and the some of the trades they do are dumb and unrealistic and feels forced and rushed.

So you guys got any suggestions for a better roster? Im not sure I'll be using UBR since the file size is too big and I don't want the retro teams. Or maybe should I just go back to edit the players individually again? :| :| :|

Maestro's roster? Hmmm...I might try that, can I get a screencap of the player's overall ratings?
