Hold the Turbo button then the Shoot button when going to the basket.

a hop step layup is performed driving to the basket and hitting the stick to either the front left, or front right. straight forward hop step jumpers are performed by tapping x, and then holding either x or the shot stick to finish the shot.

I mean in 2k13 you had a button.....how does this map to 2k14?
On the game manuals seems like: press shoot button two times very fast......do I miss something or they removed the hop step ala 2k13?

Yes, the "one button hop step" has been removed. You have now to perform the actions mentioned above.

That, along with the alley-oop, can only be done when your "shot stick" is set to DEFAULT.
Isomotion/Shots, or Shots/Isomotion = no alley-oops or hop steps (I think).

2K has acknowledged that and said they're working on fixing it for the next update.

I think you can do it with the Default shot-stick, but I haven't checked. I know I've gotten used to the alley-oop in that control scheme, but haven't tried out the hop step.

You may not download the translations, put them in an archive, and post it to ModdingWay under any circumstances.
I will do that when I have finished if it is necessary, and if I can convince Aleczou to use my translations in future releases, it likely won't be.
Only the original authors of the trainer may use my translations freely in their releases.

You can still do it using the shot button, but you have to be moving towards the basket.
