Is Cleveland Really That Bad?

I just want to compare notes with you guys and see if Cleveland is horrible for everyone else. I'm not sure if it's me, the game, or a foreshadowing of the upcoming season, but I can't win a game with them.

Here's why I ask: I booted up the game when I first got it and played against Detroit as my hometown Cavs and was absolutely blown out. No big deal - first game. Next I started a MyCAREER game and got drafted by the Cavs. Six games in we're 1-5 and look abysmal. Still, I've read that perhaps this isn't terribly uncommon in this year's MyCAREER, so I moved on. I started some association with Cleveland and again was blown out by Brooklyn. At this point I had to do some experimenting.

I started up five consecutive games against the Nets in exhibition mode, pro difficulty, six minute quarters, trying out different teams versus the Nets. First I played with the Cavs again, and again got schooled. Next I tried the Heat, which resulted in a relatively easy win. Next I tried the Wizards, figuring they would be a decent analogue to Cleveland and won again, albeit with effort. Looking for a team that I thought would be worse then the Cavs I tried Philadelphia and squeaked out a victory. Finally, I went back to the Cavs and once more I got laid waste to.

Are they that bad for everyone, or am I just no good at using them?

Well, Lebron used to play for the Cavs and is on the cover of the game, while Kyrie Irving is on the Cavs and is on the cover of the competition. Not trying to start any rumors, but you probably just suck with them.

lol It would be kinda funny it was a conspiracy, but that strikes me as far fetched. It did cross my mind though.

nah man, cleveland is pretty bad. I got drafted 11th by the sixers in my career, and we too looked abysmal at the start of the season going 0-5, now the team is balling a little bit more and we are 21-12, but who do you think got us going? Blowing out cleveland two games in a row. Kyrie Erving is a b*tch to guard tho, if you dont have that lockdown defender anyways.

Its improper use by the CPU of Dion Waiters is what's killing the Cavs

They always look for Irving Bynum Varejao and Jack... even crappy Gee gets more ball possession than Dion

Waiters isn't the star on that team, Irving is. I would say the above statement is correct. Irving, Bynum, Andy and Jack should get more touches than Waiters.
