2K14 Next Gen TV Spot

Just doing what 2k diehards do to NBA Live:
WTF?? Why wouldn't they have armpit hair, I thought this was next-gen!?!?!

But now for real:
I think I just sharted.

First off. The highs.
LOOK AT FREAKING HARDENS BEARD!!! AND FACE!!! AND SKIN!!! AND EVERYTHING!!!!
I could barely even tell that the pre Lebron was some actual in-game footage, and some was real.
Basically this thing just made me pass out. I don't know how I'll get NBA Live now.

The lows. (NONE OF THESE REALLY MATTER YET THEY ARE SIMPLE FIXES)

Basically all I got is that if you go watch Jaosming's Harden GIF his expression doesn't switch well.
And the 10 foot Parsons
And the armpit hair
And Lebron's ears (can't really see them as well this time but if you watch the first one his ears bug me. And it looks like they haven't corrected it yet.)

Other than that. I Sharted. Better go get a new pair of pants.

One more thing we only saw the graphics, we haven't seen gameplay yet. lets hope it's smooth

Parsons is 6-10 I believe someone said and it's a camera angle from the ground making things look bigger than they are.

And the best part is people that are exclusively PC gamers will likely get stuck with the "old" graphics . Last thing I want to do is buy an xbone just to play 2K. I've got two 670s. I think they can handle "next gen" console graphics.

old graphics with many other things cutted haha, so its less than less. Your 670's are more powerful, but who cares, main target from years are consoles and period.

Yeah, I know PC audience doesn't matter. It's a money thing and it should be--it's business. It's just disappointing that I'm going to have to go spend upwards of $600 just to play 2K.

But look at this from other side. PS4 is cheaper in premiere day than PS3 was. In my country it will be 20% cheaper. I will wait for full gameplay, because im still wondering is this for sure non prerendered gameplay. And still we cant see whole floor, all players, how they move without the ball, we just saw animated dunk and layup. But when i will see something close to this in overall i will start thinking about buying ps4.

And guys, will we watching/zoom faces mimics after 100 matches? Most important thing is gameplay and this will never change. So im waiting with decission, but buying current 2k14 its start lookin ridicouluz right now-for me.

God I need to replace my old GTX 280 and Q6600 probably for a GTX 860 and some 8 core intel processor next year to curbstomp the next gen consoles

LOL armpit hair? seriously I am pretty sure that if we all actually knew what went into making this and saying hmmmmm what are some of the most
important things we should work on, I am sure armpit hair never came up in that meeting

Well there is always danger like this. 2k can tommorow release last NBA for pc's. Look how long they wait with releasing of their 2k9. Now something will end up for sure. 2k14 can be the last for pc's for a long time.

Looks great, as I think most of us figured it would. I'm just hoping that the pitfalls of current gen will be left in the past. For example, the animations look great, just as 2K has had the better animations in the past, but will that still make for some clunky/out of control moments? Hopefully not, with new tech.

and yes, what's up withe no armpit hair? they must develop an armpit scanning technology and scan all the armpits of NBA players.

I mean after watching that the next gen version with those graphics and animations will be an amazing experience but PC can be modded and keep cyber faces up to date, fix any off looking faces/jerseys/courts. I hear that Live 14 will update faces during the season but I don't think 2k would do that based on years past.

I'm leaning towards next gen. What about you guys?

Next gen all the way. No matter what mods you have current gen looks outdated as hell, especially since the game was never that great graphically.

I also don't think 2k will be putting out face updates during the season, never been their thing, I don't think they ever updated all the courts last year.
