My career crash to desktop "play next key game"

guys i just want to ask if there is a solution to this?i played my career for 1 season and after being the champion and simming the pre season.everytime i press play next key game it crashes to desktop.im using nba2k official roster that i downloaded from here ,no trainers and no mods just vanilla

Reinstall the game. If nothing was added to the game prior to the crash, something must've happened to the installation process.
