So do you guys think they might actually be porting over a Next-gen PC version of 2k14. AS people have mentioned it is very possible since they just upgraded the graphics not to mention its very unusual for a game to get reduced in price that quick.

They did not just upgrade the graphics man. They made it very clear that 2k14 Next gen is not a port with just upgraded graphics. They used an entirely new engine for it. They also mentioned about MyGM and other stuffs that clearly current gen doesn't have now.

Random deals like this are not uncommon and have been offered several times over the past few years. It's not an indication of the next gen version coming to PC; that's not happening this year, though it remains to be seen what happens in the future.
