Is Myplayer ( PC ) PG / F / SF minded only?

I used to play PG with myplayer, but i was tired to do the same old thing since 2k11 so I've decided to be a C and well it looks like I can barely dominate the game with my player without spamming the ' calling for pass ' button.. I was drafted by Utah, CPU's calling play, but he only call for what ... 2 or 3 systems and even if I'm at the right position CPu won't pass me the ball! the only role I got is to do some pick and wait in the corner. I start to think that my player mode is only designed to be played as PG , F or SF... I'm not a ballhog type of player but that's frustrating to only touch the ball just when you inbound it.
Did this happened to you too ? what you guys think about that ? or you haven't play as a C or a PF ?

It's always been that way, and a lot of it has to do with how much the other positions are tasked with handling the ball.

One thing I noticed in past games, don't know if it applies to 2K14 yet, is that as you improve your ratings the CPU will call more plays for you and go to you more often as parts of plays. So it may be a factor of it looking at say your post scoring and going "65? Stinks, avoid him!" even though as humans we can score pretty decently with that rating.
