What tool should I use to edit dornaxxx.cdf files?

Fri Oct 18, 2013 6:37 pm

I can edit dorna .iff files but everytime I put it in the nba2k14 folder it makes my game hang in the loading screen before the game starts...
I use to customize my own dorna in nba 2k13 but now in 2k14 it seems that its kinda different from the process of editing dornas like in 2k13... hmmmm?

Is it something that deals with the .cdf files of each dorna?
I need some enlightening with this inquiry pls. What tool/utility should I use to edit this .cdf files?
Thank you in advance to those who will be replying... God bless...

you use the 2Kx Mod Tool to open the .iff file of the dorna. While it "opens" the iff file, it is actually editing the cdf file. So keep those two files bundled together and it should work fine.

Thank you sir JaoSming for your reply...

I had already made changes with the texture files on the dorna that I was working on but I still have a problem sir...
During in-game the default textures that i have modified still appears over the ones that i have already made...
Its like two overlapping textures appearing at the same time... My modded textures and default dorna textures...
Another problem is that it also makes my game crash...

making it crash is new to me, I dont know why that would happen.

as for the overlapping, make sure you save your dds files as dxt1 and generate mipmaps
