How to fix - Sluggish PS3 controller input using SCP Driver

Hello.
I am using a PS3 controller to play 2k on my computer. I'm also using the SCP server as well. Is there factors anything that suggests why the controller input has been sluggish? I was thinking maybe the USB cables or the monitor I'm using. I've also had to increase the game speed so that the speed of the game feels normal. Is there anything I could do to fix this problem? Cheers!
