Do you feel like the enhancements are enough for a pc purchase of 14? To me passing has always had issues, do you feel like passing has improved, meaning the speed of passes and less floating?
For me it is worth it for the return of blocking and defense, quicker gameplay, and full-resolution CFs and arms. For more gameplay impressions, check the impressions thread stickied in this forum
Yeah, graphics wise, it's almost identical. More animations. The big difference is the feel of the game. You would NEVER miss if you're under the basket (even with crappy players). In 2k14, you would routinely miss layups if you were pressured. Ball feels a lot more live and not on a yo-yo string. Smarter CPU defense and offense.
I like the new gameplay more despite I suck at driving the lane/dunking. Passing is much better imho. And I really like the soundtrack. So yes it's worth it.

From what I have seen and heard, yes it is worth it. I'm definitely getting it for the PS4 later this year but I'm contemplating on getting it for the PC right now. I know it's a better game then 2K13 and that it actually has the Dunk-Contest and 3-Point Contest in the Assoc/Seas/MyCareer. That alone is a reason to get it, but there are a few other things I wish were fixed to get it for the PC too.
Well I went ahead and got it off steam. I like that the defense feels more organic but IDK if it is just me but sometimes the players seem to move slow like their feet are in quicksand I guess? Or that they have a mind of their own and when I want them to go one way they do something else? IDK if it is just the animations playing out but the movement of the players seems to lag behind a little. Maybe the game has a new weight and acceleration system. Anyone else notice this? BTW I play offline.
For me its not worth, after +20 matches i see many issues in gameplay+ overblocking and for me more arcade gameplay. But if u are hyped u will buy it anyway
btw. 30$ is normal price for pc games, really nothing special....in my country.
when i see glitch with players stepping on free throw line and number of blocks per game fixed + for me in inevitable UBR/URB mods for 2k14, then it would be worth to switch.
