Question about REDMC

I have RedMC, and when i try to edit global textures for nba 2k14 it messes up the global, so im wondering if anyone could tell me why? im only looking to edit the sweat in the global, and i can do it with no issue using the 3dm mod tool, but when i use RedMC the sweat is gone in game, either that or they look like they're dipped in oil. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated, please and thanks.

side note, i noticed it also happens when editing the eyes in global from redMc, when i go in game the eyes are black, once again its only red MC the eyes are fine when i use 3dm mod tool.
