Black Arm Fix?

Is there a way to fix the black arms yet? I tried to fix arm issue on Joel Freeland and I couldn't do it using 3DM or the Mod Tool--I imported using DDS files and PNGs, but it didn't work. I searched for a solution in the Tutorials and in this section but didn't see any definitive answer. Thanks for any help in advance!
