No, I wouldn't prank you like that. :P

I used the System.Speech namespace for .NET which always incorporates the latest MS Speech API, and I'm using the driver-level SendInput via user32.dll to emulate keyboard presses.

Great that you didn't resort to the old SDK. I still have it here though. That one can read words on a textbox.
