use him with updated rosters?

Situation: Just finished my first season in My Career using the last NBA 2k13 official roster update. I now want to update the rosters (using the latest UBR) and keep the progress (i.e., attributes/skills, upgrades) of My Player. I don't care if I have to start over My Career -- I really just want to preserve the improvements I've made to My Player and either continue My Career or start a new My Career using updated rosters.

Is that possible?

I guess you have to create a MyPlayer in URB roster first.
then open MyCareer file with NBA2K13 Roster Editor.
copy your players ratings etc. of the original roster and paste into URB roster.
don't forgett to add your player to the right team in "teams" tab.
