Decent win with Bogut shining. Martti could not step up his game. What a disappointment. Durants numbers are really nice. Usually what Kidd does ...

Stealth Bench Come Up Big Against Knicks
Preview | Box Score | Recap | Highlights
SEATTLE, Feb 6 (AP) – Aaron Karl and Jao Wu don’t usually get playing time especially in games when the team is trailing but the two reserves made the most of their respective opportunities to help the Seattle Stealth post a thrilling home victory against the New York Knicks. Karl scored 10 of his 12 points and Wu scored all of his 7 points in the fourth quarter helping to lead the Stealth to a come from behind victory.
The loss sees New York fall further behind in the playoff race. Seattle’s win is their third straight and came on the strength of having six players reach double figures. “What a wonderful win!” Head Coach Will Sit stated, “We are lucky to have the depth that we have on our bench. We wouldn’t have pulled this one off without them.”

SACRAMENTO, Feb 10 (AP) – Moses Chara could not believe it as the Seattle Stealth pulled off an amazing win in front of a very hostile Sacramento Kings home crowd. Despite a triple double from Chara, 24 points from Kevin Martin and 19 from Joe Alexander; the Kings managed to squander a huge double digit lead to the Stealth.
Furious rivals after last season’s Western Conference Finals, the two ball clubs put on a show on national television. This time it was Kevin Durant’s team celebrating as he scored 30 points and led them to their fifth straight win. The win moves Seattle ahead of the Kings on the league standings. Reshawn Tyson endured a tough night as he shot just 5 for 14 from the field which included 6 missed three point shots. He finished with 11 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists.

Milwaukee Boosts Playoff Chances
February 10, 2013
MILWAUKEE (AP) – Stephon Marbury said he had had enough of the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Bucks had gotten enough of the mercurial PG as well. The Bucks were able to trade away the disgruntled 35 year old to the disappointing Washington Wizards. Thanks to the expiring contract of the 2-time NBA All-Star and 17 year pro, the Bucks were able to bring back some talent to help them in their fight for a playoff spot.
The Wizards who have fallen apart this season finally broke up their core by sending SG Deshawn Stevenson and F Antawn Jamison to Milwaukee. Stevenson is expected to be the Bucks’ new starting 2-guard ahead of John Salmons. The 31 year old Stevenson is a good shooter and brings some solid perimeter defence; he is averaging 9.6 ppg, 2.1 rpg, 2.5 apg this season. 36 year old Jamison is a 2-time All-Star who may be past his prime but brings experience and professionalism to the locker room. Jamison lost his starting job a month into this season but has remained strong, averaging 8.6 ppg and 4.0 rpg off the bench for the Wizards.
Bucks superstar Jay Gray was delighted with his new teammates, “I can’t wait for both of them to get on the court with us. They bring some much needed guidance to our younger guys and this will definitely help us with getting to the playoffs. I’m very excited about our chances (to be a playoff seed).”
The Wizards added to their collection of expiring contracts with Marbury and Wilson Craig. Marbury is averaging 3.7 ppg in 7.6 mpg this season. Craig, the 21st pick of the 2009 NBA Draft, has not had the most impressive NBA career. He started out in Golden State and has played 81 career games in the NBA; all of them in the 2011-12 season before being traded to Milwaukee at the start of this season. Craig looks likely to be out of the league by the end of the season. The Wizards also received a draft pick from the Bucks.
Milwaukee also announced that they would sign veteran C/PF Kenyon Martin to a contract in a bid to give the side some frontcourt depth.
