Which of the two is more likely?
I'd say real life

Well... Kings are only 3rd seed if playoffs started today. Hornets could knock them out for me.

Its not worth winning the championship if Stealth didn't get rid of the Kings
Hawks Snap Stealth Streak
February 8, SEATTLE – Manu Ginobili scored 37 points and Andrea Bargnani added 20 as the Atlanta Hawks came back from a big halftime deficit to surprise the League leading Seattle Stealth at home.
“No one expected us to take this one. We didn’t believe in ourselves either because Seattle is playing so well,” Ginobili admitted after the game, “But we found a way to get there in the end. I guess they just had a bad night tonight.” Teammate Stanley Mayo wasn’t as sympathetic as his veteran leader, “We will take this win. You can’t play half-assed and still expect to win.”
Mayo was instrumental in his team’s win as he finished with 15 points and 9 assists. His biggest contribution was on the defensive end as he held Jason Kidd scoreless for the game and hassled him from start to finish.
Allen Iverson led Seattle with 21 points and Kevin Durant had 20. Andrew Bogut finished with 18 points, Reshawn Tyson chipped in 17 and David Lee scored 16. The team effort wasn’t enough as Seattle could not convert when the points counted in the second half. A stifling Hawks defence led by Mayo and Ginobili was the reason for that; not to mention the fact that league leading scorer Durant barely played in the final quarter.

Durant Fined By NBA
February 9, SEATTLE – Kevin Durant was fined $200, 000 for an incident during his post-game podium interview after the Stealth’s surprising 123-119 loss to the Hawks.
Durant was important in the first half before fouling out early in the fourth quarter. The NBA’s leading scorer and a favourite for MVP finished with 20 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 blocks and 3 steals but left the stadium to boos from the team’s fans.
The post-game interview was particularly hostile as he was peppered with questions of whether he gave up on his team as a protest against a $50, 000 fine handed down to him just a day before the Stealth-Hawks game. “As if I would do that,” Durant at first replied. As media kept pressing on, Durant got up and threw his chair at someone in the front row before being restrained and escorted out by security.

Only if off-court matters don't ruin our season.

hova- wrote:With all the RL hype in the Playoffs etc, I find it so cool to look at your team like everybody is looking at the Mavs team. Okay, the Mavs had a lot of first round exits, but the Stealth also seem to be right in that category of the Mavs, the early 2000 Kings etc.
You just got to win that damn thing or you will be in that "great teams that never won it" category. KD will be on Barkley's shitlist for players that never won it despite being top talent calibre.
Maybe when Playoffs come in this D, I will make an article looking back at your Playoff exits and breaking down what will happen this year.
