Jason Kidd wants to keep playing

I love how real life Jason Kidd might play to age 40 if health persists. Makes me feel like this D is not too far fetched!

I doubt he could make it to age 42 in real life but I only wish.

He's still playing at a high level, so good for him. Since he's never really relied on athleticism, I don't see why he couldn't go to 40. One of my favourite point guards in the game right now :)

I really can't imagine the NBA without Kidd, in my opinion he's the best (yes, better than Nash) point guard in the last decade (Y)

Well, that's why we signed him over Nash in Seattle!

Best all-around PG in the league!

Which of the two is more likely?

I'd say real life :)

I really love Jason Kidd. Best PG of the last decade for sure. He's better than Nash because of his defense. Despite losing some quickness, he is still able to make key plays on defense because of his hands & experience.

He could play until 42 for sure if he just does not experience a key injury (like Mourning did for example).

I think in this Association as you are raging hot favourite this season. Although to win, I still think you need a bit of luck. Hopefully Kings get upset by somebody else & you don't have to beat them to advance

Well... Kings are only 3rd seed if playoffs started today. Hornets could knock them out for me. :)

Dynasty Kings >>> Real Life Heat though. Al Jefferson is Chris Bosh, Chara is Lebron, Westbrook is Wade. Michael Redd is Mike Miller. :)

Its not worth winning the championship if Stealth didn't get rid of the Kings

Hawks Snap Stealth Streak

Image Image

February 8, SEATTLEManu Ginobili scored 37 points and Andrea Bargnani added 20 as the Atlanta Hawks came back from a big halftime deficit to surprise the League leading Seattle Stealth at home.

“No one expected us to take this one. We didn’t believe in ourselves either because Seattle is playing so well,” Ginobili admitted after the game, “But we found a way to get there in the end. I guess they just had a bad night tonight.” Teammate Stanley Mayo wasn’t as sympathetic as his veteran leader, “We will take this win. You can’t play half-assed and still expect to win.”

Mayo was instrumental in his team’s win as he finished with 15 points and 9 assists. His biggest contribution was on the defensive end as he held Jason Kidd scoreless for the game and hassled him from start to finish.

Allen Iverson led Seattle with 21 points and Kevin Durant had 20. Andrew Bogut finished with 18 points, Reshawn Tyson chipped in 17 and David Lee scored 16. The team effort wasn’t enough as Seattle could not convert when the points counted in the second half. A stifling Hawks defence led by Mayo and Ginobili was the reason for that; not to mention the fact that league leading scorer Durant barely played in the final quarter.

Durant Fined By NBA

February 9, SEATTLEKevin Durant was fined $200, 000 for an incident during his post-game podium interview after the Stealth’s surprising 123-119 loss to the Hawks.

Durant was important in the first half before fouling out early in the fourth quarter. The NBA’s leading scorer and a favourite for MVP finished with 20 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 blocks and 3 steals but left the stadium to boos from the team’s fans.

The post-game interview was particularly hostile as he was peppered with questions of whether he gave up on his team as a protest against a $50, 000 fine handed down to him just a day before the Stealth-Hawks game. “As if I would do that,” Durant at first replied. As media kept pressing on, Durant got up and threw his chair at someone in the front row before being restrained and escorted out by security.

Good to see the streak ended. You can wipe the hype now and get that Larry O'Brien thingy to Seattle.

With all the RL hype in the Playoffs etc, I find it so cool to look at your team like everybody is looking at the Mavs team. Okay, the Mavs had a lot of first round exits, but the Stealth also seem to be right in that category of the Mavs, the early 2000 Kings etc.

You just got to win that damn thing or you will be in that "great teams that never won it" category. KD will be on Barkley's shitlist for players that never won it despite being top talent calibre.

Maybe when Playoffs come in this D, I will make an article looking back at your Playoff exits and breaking down what will happen this year.

Thanks man, I plan to get that far as soon as possible. Just got to finish exams first. And if you do an article, don't forget to recap all the epic Interstate Highway battles between Seattle/Portland. :)
