Yeah, I have a feeling Cavs will be eliminated in the second round.

Lamrock wrote:Nice playoff power rankings. I'm thinking Seattle will beat Miami in the finals. Cavs aren't deep, while the Sixers don't seem title caliber. 2013 playoffs look a lot like the 2003 playoffs with a couple West juggernauts, and a bunch of East teams with little hope to win a title.

Sixers are Eastern Conference Champion caliber. Sixers and Hawks are my picks to play in ECF.

Valor wrote:Lets go Stealth! Win a Ring for KIDD!! (Y)

I also think either Philly or Miami will make it to the finals, but thats just my two cents

I will try my best to guide the Stealth to victory.

Only a few updates left till the playoffs begin guys. We got the final trimester recap and then playoff preview before the real fun begins!

Once again, thank you to everyone for continuing to follow.

Aaron Karl Will Play With Injured Heel
Preview | Box Score | Recap | Highlights

SEATTLE, Apr 15 (AP) – On the eve of the first round of the NBA playoffs, the number 1 seeded Seattle Stealth confirmed that backup point guard Aaron Karl is injured with plantar fasciitis. The former Rhode Island PG complained of pain in his heel after a recent practice and has since been sitting out team scrimmages. Head Coach Will Sit addressed the issue in his press conference after Stealth practice yesterday and called Karl one of his most dependable players.

"Aaron is a great shooter. He is a great teammate. It is a big loss to the team if we don't have him at 100%," Sit stated, "However, I will play him in Game 1 and see how he goes. Maybe he will surprise us." Traded to Seattle from Philadelphia, Karl is a third year pro and is one of the young guards challenging Jason Kidd for his starting spot. Sit has held firm by starting the 40 year old veteran all season but if Kidd were to retire at the end of this season, Karl would be a top running candidate to take over the reins to the team.

The Portland Trailblazers should be pleased with the news of Karl's injury as Karl has been the Stealth's most reliable scoring threat from off the bench with his shooting stroke. His unselfish nature and playmaking ability has helped get the most out of fellow second team guard Allen Iverson who has increased his scoring average since joining the Stealth despite playing less minutes than he did for the New York Knicks.

"Aaron is the consummate professional," Sit heaped praise on him, "I'm sure he won't let this injury set him back."

Ah, you'll still take those pesky Blazers, easy.

And do you ever find it weird when you have to write about yourself in third person for these stories? I tried throwing myself in as coach in an older dynasty that never even got off the ground, mostly cause I felt so awkward writing about myself like that. It works, though, don't get me wrong.

Maybe I am just a douche bag who loves to refer to oneself in third person. :P

Joking! I guess I don't feel weird because I am sort of living my own make-believe world. However, I know that I could never write myself into a story as a player. Now that feels weird. Don't ask me why it's any different to writing myself in as a coach or GM. I guess writing myself in as a player is more lame than being a coach/GM. That's just how I feel. Any thoughts?

Your guy played a stronger second half of the season but you did finish with close to career low numbers. Some improvements in offensive awareness should help you out. :P

Will be an interesting summer for Andrew Watson. (Y)

I will give you a good option this Summer after playoffs. :)

Stealth Head Coach Discusses Rivalry
Preview | Box Score | Recap | Highlights

SEATTLE, Apr 15 (AP) – After the Seattle Stealth concluded their last training session before taking the court against the Portland Trailblazers tomorrow night, Head Coach Will Sit called out their first round opponents as their first and biggest rivals since joining the NBA under the Stealth moniker. "No disrespect to the (Sacramento) Kings but the Blazers have always been a roadblock of sorts for my boys," Sit stated, "We've always been knocked out by them in every postseason we've played in. Our real breakthrough was last season and boy am I glad that they don't have Steve (Nash) anymore."

The league leading Stealth won 59 games this season to claim the number 1 seed for the Western Conference. Sit is confident that his squad can get past the Blazers in the first round but has cautioned his squad to be cautious and respectful of their opponents. "Look, I would be silly to understate the quality of Portland's team. They still have a heck of a front court with Greg (Oden) and Carlos (Boozer). I'm a huge fan of Darko (Milicic) as well so I'm glad he's actually out injured so we don't need to face him," Sit said, "Ben (Gordon) and Brandon (Roy) are phenomenal scorers. We've got our work cut out for ourselves."

Sit didn't go as far to say that the Blazers would beat his side though as he even joked, "When we get to the NBA Finals, I want to invite them (Blazers) down the highway to come and join in the celebrations!"

All jokes aside, Sit did reiterate that he didn't like Portland very much and that was all stemming from the history between them. "I've always hated facing these guys. It sucks whenever we lose to them," Sit assured the media, "It would be great to get a sweep and give them a bit of their own medicine." Sit also laughed off rumours that Blazers SG Brandon Roy is a likely off-season target for the Stealth to replace SG Reshawn Tyson, "I don't know where you guys get these ideas from but as far as I know, I'm not having a Blazer on my team."

You better get Roy, Ty and I will join forces somewhere. (Y)

I don't think not having Karl would be that bad with the 1st overall pick to back him up. I expect at least one game, where he explodes. (Y)

The Roy rumors are courtesy of my Blazers insider. But I have no intention on pursuing him. However, if he is a possible choice, Roy could be coming to Seattle because Ty does not look likely to want to be back in Seattle.

Ty's a pussy. It's better to have Jao Wu than Reshawn "I'm calling a press conference to share my pain because my gf died" Tyson. Durant should slap his emo face.

2K11 is sounding like it will have a much better association mode than 2K9... so I am guessing this has got to go a lot quicker.
