Second Trimester Recap – Seattle Stealth Report
Team Report
Team Record: 41-18
Division: 1st
Conference: 1st
Entering the final stretch of the season, the Seattle Stealth are looking very good - to say the least. With all guns on deck and literally firing away, Seattle’s offensive juggernaut is tearing through the league with a ferocity that has not been seen in a while.
Kevin Durant, Reshawn Tyson, Andrew Bogut, David Lee are all handy scorers but to add Allen Iverson (who has been a surprisingly positive addition) to the mix gives Seattle one of the most explosive squads in the NBA on the attacking end. That’s not to mention offensive sparkplugs in Trevor Ariza, Aaron Karl, and rookie Jao Wu; all of these guys make for an exciting roster. Jason Kidd remains the steady hand for Seattle and it has been amazing what he and Coach Will Sit have been able to achieve this season.
Seattle is now the best team in the NBA after starting the season looking to chase the Sacramento Kings. This was evident as the Kings only had 1 All-Star (2 if you include the recently acquired Al Jefferson) in comparison to the Stealth’s 3. Now that Sacramento are the ones chasing after Seattle, perhaps this is a good sign for last year’s Western Conference runners-up. Furthermore, be assured that Coach Sit will be imploring for his team not to get complacent as he understands that his side needs that home court advantage to defeat their rivals.
Provided that the entire team stays healthy and Iverson continues to be a pillar of leadership, Seattle will end up on top of the Western Conference. This could be the season that earns Kidd and Iverson their first rings!

Kiwis Watson And Moore Sizing Up Options
March 1, 2013
NEW ORLEANS (AP) – NBA swingmen and New Zealand compatriots Andrew Watsonp and Mark Moore are sizing up their options for the upcoming free agency period. The two Kiwis entered the league in the same year and have become friends over the past 4 years. The pair have had similar but mirroring NBA careers thus far.
The elder Watson joined a talented Denver Nuggets side that was deemed as contenders for the NBA title. Watson was a star in his rookie year and helped to form one of the league’s highest scoring trios in the league alongside Carmelo Anthony and Chauncey Billups. Unfortunately, Denver would never reach its full potential on the back of injuries to injury-prone big men Nene and Kenyon Martin. Anthony was the first to jump ship as he left to play for the New Jersey Nets in a shock decision. Watson has been subsequently traded to cellar dweller Houston and is having a career worst season with the Rockets.
The younger and more versatile Moore has recently been enjoying more success with the New Orleans Hornets. In a paradox to Watson, Moore played three and a half frustrating seasons with the Charlotte Bobcats to start his playing career. “If you look at us,” Moore said in a quick question and answer session after a recent game against the Rockets, “We’ve pretty much done the same thing except at different times. He won early and I’m winning later.”
The pair met after a game between the Rockets and Hornets to reportedly discuss their options. Watson is rumored to be tired of playing in the NBA and is tossing up a move to Europe. However, Moore is believed to be trying to coax his national teammate to join him in New Orleans. Moore was not shy about the proposition, “I think that we could use a player like X (Watson) in New Orleans. It’s certainly an option and I think it would keep Chris (Paul) happy if we got more shooters on this team.”
